July 31, 2026

Updated:

• We updated the Newbie's Guide to Getting Started with Automox API to accurately reflect the updated Automox console, Postman, and API documentation.
• We updated the patch policy and worklet documentation to reflect that, after August 3, 2026, worklet evaluation scripts will no longer run immediately following a patch policy execution. See our technical release feed for more details.
• We updated Supported Operating Systems to reflect ARM64 support for the following OSes:
  • AlmaLinux OS 9
  • Debian 11
  • Debian 12
  • Ubuntu 22
• New Third-Party Software Support titles:
  • IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate 2026.1 (Windows / macOS)
  • Adobe Acrobat 2020 Classic (Windows)

Bugfixes:

• We fixed an issue where devices were not consistently displaying the "Refreshing" status when scanning.
• We fixed an issue where the agent was ignoring the AUTOMOX_PROXY environment variable when downloading script signing certificates.
• We fixed an issue where DCUs were not inheriting proxy environment variables, which caused some Linux devices to show an erroneous Health Warning message in the console.
• We fixed an issue where the organization certificate was not being set on the device.
• We fixed an issue where device sleep state was not being detected (macOS) and policy actions were still being triggered on offline (sleeping) macOS devices, which caused the policy to run immediately without notifications when the device came back online.
• We fixed an issue where groups were not being displayed properly in the Associated Groups for a policy.

• We updated the Scheduled Windows FAQ and Policy Results Report to reflect the addition of the "Partial" status to indicate policy executions that were partially successful (for example, if a scheduled window began while a policy execution was already in progress).
• Updated Third-Party Patching Best Practices for Dell Display Manager 2.x (Windows).
• API Documentation: We have removed the Policy Results History APIs from the Console API documentation, as it is now being published at Policy Report API

Bugfixes:

• We fixed an issue where editing a policy schedule caused the Next Patch Time to be calculated incorrectly, thereby causing Missed Patch Window to run the policy immediately.

• We updated Supported Operating Systems to reflect that Lubuntu 25.04 is EoL (consistency update).
• API documentation has moved: Documentation for the Automox Console API, Audit Trail API, Webhooks API, and the new Cloud Worklets API can now be found within the console, at https://console.automox.com/api/docs. Links within this site have been updated to route to that location.
