Profile
You can manage your profile and Slack notification settings from the Profile page.
Select the Settings → Profile tab to manage the following details:
- Make changes to your profile information, such as first and last name.
- Change your password.
- Manage email notifications. You can select to receive email notifications for the following:
- Devices Added to Automox
- Devices Removed from Automox
- Devices Successfully Patched
- Devices Failed to Patch
- Weekly Digest of Automox Activity
- Add Slack notifications.
Slack app integration
You can add a Slack integration to your workspace from the Automox console Profile page. This integration supports multiple organizations and must be configured within each respective organization.
- Click the Add to Slack button.
- Allow Automox permission to access your Slack workspace.
- You can now manage the notifications from the Profile page. You can select to receive Slack notifications for the following:
- Devices Added to Automox
- Devices Removed from Automox
- Devices Successfully Patched
- Devices Failed to Patch
- You can disable Slack directly from the Profile page. Select Disable Slack and click Update Profile.
Slack slash commands
Users can now leverage slash commands in Slack to interact with the Automox platform. The following commands are supported once the @automox bot is added to the desired channel:

Note:
- Permissions for reading notifications in Slack are managed by Slack and not Automox. To add the Slack app you must have Organization: Manage permissions.
- All users in your associated Slack channel receive notifications for the selected alerts, regardless of their permissions.
